Windows Neptune

Windows Neptune is an operating system developed by Microsoft, but it was never officially released to the public. It was supposed to be the successor of Windows 2000, but it was cancelled in 2000.
Neptune had many features that were ahead of its time, such as a new user interface, improved multimedia capabilities, and a new file system. However, due to various internal issues, Microsoft decided to cancel the project and focus on other operating systems.

It's unfortunate that we never got to experience Windows Neptune, but we can still look back at what could have been.
